Why I'm A Front Bencher!

It’s funny to you see I sit in front of the class. I spend the whole school life glorifying the title “back-bencher” being teacher’s favourite hate child! They must be contemplating a change in profession after dealing with me! But here in college things turned upside down I started sitting in the front bench of my class. No the course didn’t awe me or I was hooked to stupendous talent executed by my teachers in teaching the subjects.

I sit in front of my class-alone. Alone as in alone not as in lonely. I prefer sitting alone but when someone chooses to sit with me it’s repelling. I sit alone for I have absolutely no interest in what the teachers have to say. I won’t die of hunger if I don’t know your iron-carbon diagram or about the Bryton Cycle. I’ll live and live happily. The first seat is kind of off-limits for my class mates with whom I share zero personality traits.

It’s good to be alone than suffer in bad company. First seat is where no-one comes and professor thinks I’m really interested in their knowledge about IC engines. HA! First seat is special I have all the time to myself I’m not disturbed by anyone nor interrupted. I live in my own imaginations, ideas and world. It’s great to contemplate about all the things you care about.

Then my notebook which has rarely been used to jot down notes is utilised to list all my breakthrough ideas and poetry. Articles come up thanks to perfect lecture on the study of governors. The whole world, solar system, ever expanding universe is large enough to contain your imaginations and ideas. Poems, music, art, Literature, revolution, politics, these are some of the things that go in my head. What is the probability I’ll find someone with same characteristics? Chances are slim but then who’s complaining I’m too much for even for me.
